Gulf Bank Successfully Concludes "Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together" Ramadan Campaign, Featuring Various Charitable, Social, and Sports Activities

Every year during Ramadan, Gulf Bank continues to uphold the values of generosity and community support that define this special time. In Ramadan 2025, this commitment was showcased through the launch of the “Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together” campaign, which included a variety of charitable, social, and sports initiatives, making a positive impact on various segments of the community.

Commenting on the campaign, Mrs. Najla Aleisa, Chief Marketing Officer at Gulf Bank, said: "As part of our strategy to promote social sustainability, we focused on creating a well-rounded program that combines charitable efforts with sports and social activities. This was made possible through the support of Gulf Bank's volunteer team, “Sawa’ed Al-Khaleej”, and in collaboration with numerous strategic partners from various sectors."

She emphasized that Gulf Bank’s program aims to reinforce humanitarian and social values, bringing joy and benefits to the community. "Through our diverse and inclusive initiatives during Ramadan, we successfully reached various regions of Kuwait and engaged with different segments of society—customers and non-customers, citizens and residents, men and women, young and old, as well as underprivileged families, orphans, and individuals with special needs."

Mrs. Aleisa also emphasized that Gulf Bank has declared 2025 as "The Year of Giving," embodying a noble concept that reflects the true spirit of humanity. "In line with this, we have committed our resources—time, effort, and financial support—to reviving our traditions and values under the slogan ‘Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together.’”

Joy Land Initiative

We ensured to bring happiness and joy to the hearts of underprivileged families ahead of the blessed month of Ramadan by participating in the Joy Land initiative. We distributed essential supplies for Ramadan and Eid clothing, aiming to enhance the quality of life for these families during this special time by fulfilling their basic needs and spreading joy.

Employee and Media Ramadan Iftar

We welcomed the holy month with a traditional Kuwaiti iftar, bringing together our employees, partners, and media representatives to celebrate the arrival of Ramadan.

Exclusive Ramadan Crescent Sighting Experience

In collaboration with renowned astronomer Khaled Al-Jamaan, we offered a unique opportunity for attendees to take part in a special Ramadan crescent sighting experience, where they could explore the fascinating astronomical details behind moon sighting.

20-Day Iftar Meal Distribution

As part of our steadfast commitment to supporting those in need, we distributed iftar meals over a period of 20 days, providing an opportunity to share the blessings of Ramadan with fasting individuals and contribute to bringing joy to their lives.

Ramadan Grocery Distribution at Lulu and Shamiya Co-op

Over the course of two days, the Bank generously distributed "Machlat Ramadan" groceries to shoppers at Lulu Hypermarket and Shamiya Co-op, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the community and enriching customer experiences, in collaboration with both partners.

In collaboration with the Kuwait Food Bank and City Hypermarket, Gulf Bank distributed "Machlat Ramadan" groceries over four days, honoring the cultural traditions of the holy month that have been passed down through generations, while enhancing community involvement in charitable initiatives.

Gulf Bank Fitness Challenge

Gulf Bank organized the Gulf Bank Fitness Challenge in collaboration with Lose-Gain Gym over two days—one for men and one for women—to promote health and fitness within the community. The initiative encouraged participants to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle during the holy month, with cash prizes awarded to the top three teams in each category.

"Nuqsat AlKhaleej" to Empower Entrepreneurs

Gulf Bank resumed "Nuqsat AlKhaleej" every Thursday to support innovation and economic growth, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to thrive. The initiative was met with strong client engagement.

Gargee'an Celebration and Arab Orphan Day Participation

As children hold a special place during Ramadan, Gulf Bank organized a two-day Gargee'an celebration for children, with particular focus on those from NEO Account holders, individuals with special needs, and orphans. Additionally, the Bank participated in the Arab Orphan Day celebrations, sponsored and attended by Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, along with other distinguished guests.

In recognition of their vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our community, Gulf Bank joined members of the Kuwait Fire Force and the General Traffic Department for an Iftar gathering. This initiative was a sincere expression of the Bank’s gratitude for their exceptional service and continuous efforts in fostering teamwork and strengthening community collaboration.

Annual “Ghabga” Gathering to Celebrate Employees
